ultimately we were tired of the confusion.The developers of SmartScorer, quarreled after each local cricket match about who did best. Who hit more sixes? Who bowled the best spell? Who should be named Man of the Match? We realised that cricket is pointless without stats if we have no basis for discussion or recognition, then we have nothing. In the end, we just asked ourselves, "Why don't we start scoring our matches properly?" That one small idea grew into something bigger. When we were discussing the idea further, we realised that thousands upon thousands of local cricketers felt the same way, and that was the inception of SmartScorer.
Probably. At this stage, SmartScorer uses a free to end-user business model. However, in the future we may offer premium options, only if there is the need for more advanced tools, exclusives stats, branded apps, etc. Our primary focus will stay in providing local cricket clubs and leagues with good value for money solutions. Basic match scoring and tournament management will not come with a cost to anyone. Stay with us; smartscorer will grow and so will you!
If you want to track your numbers to improve, find local teams to play, get recognized for your achievements, or track up-and-coming cricket players in your area, then you will love SmartScorer. It's about building your cricket experience, one game at a time, and not just scoring runs.
Go to the side menu or home screen and tap the "Add a Team" button. Your team is ready when you add its name, location, and team logo if you want. You can then start adding team members right away. Please remember that team names must be unique, just like usernames, so grab yours soon before someone else takes it!
To add a player, you can either join an existing team or create a new one.You can add a player by simply entering their name, phone number, and an optional photo of them (if to makeThrough the tests you can also add players directly from your contacts for a faster method. The player will show up in the search results if they are already registered on SmartScorer; just hit their profile to immediately add them to your squad.
A mobile number is used by SmartScorer to uniquely identify our participants. A player can access all of their historical match data at any time just by entering their mobile number, even if they have not downloaded the app. Your privacy is important - nobody can access your number without your permission. We do not sell, disclose or spam your data.
It's a snap for owners and admins of the team!From the Side Menu, select Teams → [Your Team] and tap on the player you would like to make captain. A menu will show up. You will see the option "Make Captain"; simply tap and you are all done!
Your SmartScorer Cricket Profile shows all of your cricketing achievements, including how many games you have played, how many runs you have scored, how many wickets you have taken and more. Essentially, it is a cricket profile, much like your social media profile. Each game that you play contributes to your digital cricket profile.
Now on SmartScorer, instead of an OTP, you can use your registered mobile number and a password to log in to SmartScorer. If you haven't done already, just select the Side Menu → Reset Password and it only takes a couple of seconds to create your new password.
You must be an administrator of one of the participating teams or a team owner to score an individual match. To score a tournament match you must be identified as the tournament scorer.
Yes, for sure! Their purpose is to give your local cricket heroes some deserved exposure by enabling you to show out your own performance and also acknowledge your peers' achievements on social media.
If it was only made for testing or demo purposes, it may have been automatically deleted to keep SmartScorer clean and uncluttered. Make sure to always complete the scoring of for real matches so they can remain in the system.

The SmartScorer program seamlessly organizes the matches, teams, standings, leaderboard, sponsors, top performers and media for your tournament on a unique Tournament Page. Participants, fans, sponsors, and the organisers will find everything they need located conveniently in one place, without hassle.
The great news is it's 100% free! SmartScorer will allow you to score your tournament for free. You can now view the Team Details of the Match!
HOW TO WATCH THE GALLERY OF A MATCH? → On the Home Page, you will see a list of all live or completed matches. → Click on the match for which you want to view the Gallery. → Inside the match screen, look for the "Gallery" tab or option. → Click on "Gallery" to view all the photos and videos related to the match. You can now enjoy the Match Gallery!
3. SCORING
You could start scoring on ground or usually before start. For individual matches, simply: Select two teams. Select starting line-up. Select ground, venue, match type, overs in set. When conducting tournament matches, you must select a tournament name and round first. Including match officials during set up is optional.
Find your match by selecting "Upcoming" after selecting Side Menu → Matches under the MY MATCHES tab. To resume and score just tap on it.
If you're needing to switch devices whilst scoring, you can simply log in on the new device using your registered mobile number, and OTP (or password if the original device is off). After you have logged in, click on "My Matches" under Matches, then tap the match and click "Resume Scoreboard". Just make sure to log off the original device!
We've got you covered, don't worry! Simply log in on another phone using your mobile number and password (OTP will not work here). Then click on "Resume Scoreboard" after you've clicked the match in Matches > My Matches. You'll be back to the game in no time!
Absolutely! Just go into "Settings" on the scoreboard and select "Replace Bowler". The bowler will simply be replaced if he hasn't bowled already. If he has bowled a few balls already then those balls will be added to the new bowler stats.
No problem.To change the wrong player, just click on "Settings" while scoring, click on "Change Batter" and select the correct player.
Yes-Quite useful for gully cricket rules such as the 1-run declare! To change the strike, simply click the run (eg one run) and click the batter name manually. It's quick and flexible, just what your match needs.

How to Create a Match on SmartScorer – Step-by-Step Guide → Go to your Profile and select the Organiser Dashboard option. → Once the Organiser Dashboard opens, click on "Create Match". → Select the sport type for which you want to create the match. → After selecting the sport, choose the teams that will participate in the match. → You’ll have three options to select or add teams: My Teams – choose from the teams you’ve already created. Add New Teams – create and add a new team if it's not already listed. Search Team – search for existing teams on the platform. → Fill in the required match details, such as: Match Type (e.g., Limited Overs, Test Match, Box Cricket) Ball Type (e.g., Leather, Tennis) Pitch Type (e.g., Turf, Matting) Match Officials (e.g., Umpires, Referee) → After entering all the required details, proceed to conduct the Toss to determine which team will bat or bowl first.
→ Go to your Profile and select the Organiser Dashboard option. → Select the sport type for which you want to start scoring. → Choose the specific match you want to score and click on "Start Scoring". You're now ready to begin live scoring for the match. → Once the Organiser Dashboard opens, click on "View Match".

The team has been successfully added to the tournament!
→ Go to your Profile and select the Organiser Dashboard option. → Once the Organiser Dashboard opens, click on "View Tournament". → Select the tournament in which you want to configure rounds. → After selecting the tournament, navigate to Manage Tournament. → Go to the "Rounds" option and select the round type as per your requirement (e.g., Round Robin, Knockout). The round format has been successfully selected for the tournament!
→ Go to your Profile and select the Organiser Dashboard option. → Once the Organiser Dashboard opens, click on "View Tournament". → Select the tournament in which you want to configure groups. → After selecting the tournament, navigate to Manage Tournament. → Go to the "Groups" option and click on "Create Group" to add a new group for the tournament. The group has been successfully created!
→ Go to your Profile and select the Organiser Dashboard option. → Once the Organiser Dashboard opens, click on "View Tournament". → Select the tournament in which you want to schedule matches. → After selecting the tournament, navigate to Manage Tournament. → Go to the "Matches" option. → To schedule a match, follow these 3 steps: Select Round Select Teams Enter Match Details → Fill in all the match details as per your requirement (e.g., date, time, ground, overs, ball type, etc.). The match has been successfully scheduled in the tournament!
→ Go to your Profile and select the Organiser Dashboard option. → In the Organiser Dashboard, click on "View Tournament". → Select the tournament in which the match is scheduled. → Navigate to Manage Tournament and then go to the "Matches" section. → Right-click on the match you want to score. → You will see the "Start Scoring" option — click it to begin scoring.
→ Go to your Profile and select the Organiser Dashboard option. → Click on "View Tournament". → Select the tournament for which you want to view the points table. → Scroll down to find the "Points Table" section below the tournament details.

→ From the header, go to "Auction" and select the "Dashboard" option. → A list of auction options will appear: New Auction Join Auction My Auction → Go to My Auction. → Select the auction for which you want to open or close the Welcome Page. → Navigate to the Auction Panel. → Click on the "Settings" button. → In Settings, you will find the option to Open Welcome Page or Close Welcome Page. → Click the desired option based on your requirement.
